What sort of training and/or degrees are required to become a high school secretary?
Can you answer Abnormal's question about degrees?:
My counselor has me doing a paper about where my life (ideally) would be in five years. I was wondering what kind of schooling and/or degrees and/or training is required to have my dream job as the secretary at a high school.

Thanks for your help.
Just a quick note, I meant to say my mental health counselor (not the kind you find in a school helping make sure kids are on track to graduate).
I used to TA in the main office at my high school and loved it! I wish I had had more responsibilities (like the "real" secretaries) and it was the highlight of my day.

Oh LOL that makes more sense. no1 in their right mind would have high school secretary as a dream job. ew
guidance counselling on the other hand is more fun
i would stay strong in biology, psychology, mathematics, sociology, and english. also any cultural studies classes available to you, and foreign languages. perhaps art class as well.
you might want to train as a mental health nurse for the best possible chance of a good career in this and a high level of respect.
